What we collect

When you send an enquiry, we collect:

• Your name and phone number
• Your suburb
• Your email address, if you choose to give one
• The service you are asking about
• Any job details you choose to add

If you call, we note your number and what you tell us about the job. Our website may also record technical details such as browser type, device type, the pages you visit, the page you arrived from and the page you were on when you sent the form.

Why we collect it

• To contact you and arrange a free on-site quote
• To follow up on your enquiry
• To answer questions you send us
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it

Who sees it

Your enquiry is read by our team and passed to the licensed removalist who will quote your job, so they can contact you. We also use a small number of providers to run the site:

• Formspree, for secure processing of the enquiry form (United States)
• Website analytics and search tools (United States)
• Our email provider

We do not sell your personal information or add you to marketing lists.

Where it is processed

While you fill in the quote form, a draft is kept in your current browser tab so you can look through our services and come back without retyping. It expires after two hours, is cleared after a successful submission and is never sent anywhere until you press submit.

The form provider and analytics tools are based in the United States, so your enquiry is sent over an encrypted connection and processed overseas. By submitting the form you agree to this. If you would rather keep your details in Australia, call us on 0422 128 667 instead.

How we protect it

Your enquiry travels over HTTPS and access to enquiry records is limited to the people who need it to deal with your job. No system is perfect, so please avoid putting sensitive details such as bank or identity numbers in the job notes.

Phone calls and follow-up

We may call or text you about your enquiry, usually within 30 mins of receiving it. Tell us if you would rather we did not contact you that way and we will stop.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your job and meet our record keeping duties, then we delete or de-identify them.

Cookies

This website may use cookies for basic functionality and to measure site performance. You can turn them off in your browser settings and still use the site.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Show you the personal information we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date
• Delete your information
• Stop contacting you
• Stop passing your details to a removalist, although we will not be able to act on your enquiry if you do
